There
has been a lot of talk recently about calls for a new, modern
definition of poverty. Unfortunately, advocates for this change are
arguing a moot point.
As Margy writes in an AlterNet Op-Ed published yesterday, “as long as we keep talking about ”poverty“, this is much ado about almost nothing.”

need more than just a new definition of poverty – we need a new way of
